Separate police shootings that left two men dead over the weekend in Northampton County remained under investigation Monday. The first of the two incidents occurred Saturday morning, when a suicidal man was shot to death at his home in Lower Mount Bethel Township. Less than 24 hours later, a robbery suspect who shot a clerk in Whitehall Township rammed two police cruisers in neighboring Allentown, authorities said; police shot him after he pointed a handgun at officers.
